💙 Meet the Changemakers

Because of You, We’re Supporting the Next Generation

At United Way Grays Harbor, we believe real change starts with connection. That’s why we fund the programs, people, and partnerships that help young people thrive mentally, emotionally, and academically.

We don’t duplicate their efforts—we amplify them. Because when we work together, our impact multiplies.

Over 1,000 children across Grays Harbor receive a free book in the mail every month through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. These books spark curiosity, connection, and early learning—long before kindergarten even begins. With each delivery, we’re putting stories—and possibilities—into little hands all over our region.

92% of teen parents supported by Snug Harbor & COPE are graduating high school—That’s nearly double the national average. With access to child care, parenting classes, and hands-on support through Snug Harbor & COPE, young parents are breaking cycles and building futures.

In the summer, Park & Play rolls into neighborhoods across Grays Harbor to provide healthy meals, movement, inspiration, and connection. These mobile sites offer more than fun—they give kids a place to belong. When children feel safe and seen, they thrive.

Teen United equips high schoolers with leadership training, teamwork experience, and the chance to impact their communities directly. Volunteering and raising funds for their schools, these teens aren’t waiting to lead someday. They're doing it now.

This Is What You Make Possible

At United Way Grays Harbor, we fund what works—and connect what matters. Every dollar stays local, supporting the youth, families, and futures of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties.

Behind every meal, mentorship, or moment of help is a community partnership. And United Way Grays Harbor helps make that connection possible.

We don’t just fund programs. We connect people. We back solutions. We build momentum.

Because of you, we’re building a future shaped by readers, graduates, young parents, mentors, and teen leaders who are already making a difference.

This is how we build a resilient community—together. United is the Way.
