Summer Giveaway – Official Rules & Guidelines
Chill Out with Cool Summer Wins

 

Eligibility

This giveaway is open to U.S. residents who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
All prizes must be picked up in person in Grays Harbor County, Washington.
Shipping where applicable is available at the winner’s expense and must be arranged by the winner.


*Employees and board members of United Way Grays Harbor are not eligible to win.
 

How to Enter

  • Scan the QR code, visit the official giveaway entry page, or fill out the form at unitedwaygraysharbor.org/summer-giveaway

  • Enter your name and mobile number

  • Agree to receive occasional text messages from United Way Grays Harbor

Limit one (1) main entry per person. No purchase or donation required.
 

Bonus Entries

Earn up to two (2) bonus entries:

  • +1 Entry – Share the giveaway on Facebook (tag @UWGHP) or Instagram (tag @unitedwayofgraysharbor)

  • +1 Entry – Post a photo with a giveaway QR card, poster, or flyer and tag us

Posts must be public and include the appropriate tag.
Not on social media? Email a screenshot to info@unitedwaygraysharbor.org to verify your bonus entry.
 

Giveaway Dates

Entry Period: July 1 – August 19, 2025
Weekly Drawings: July 9, 16, 23, 30 and August 6, 13
Grand Prize Drawing: August 20, 2025
 

Prize Eligibility

  • All valid entries are eligible for each weekly drawing.

  • Weekly winners will be removed from future weekly prize drawings.

  • All entries remain eligible for the Grand Prize—even if a weekly prize has been won.
     

Prizes

Weekly Prizes:

  • Fun gifts and gift cards donated by local businesses (restaurants, experiences, etc.)

  • Must be 21+ to claim any prize that includes alcohol or alcohol-serving venues

  • Community-focused prizes may have no assigned cash value and are not redeemable for cash
     

Grand Prize – Caribbean Resort Stay for Two:

  • An all-inclusive, adults-only Caribbean resort stay at Galley Bay Resort & Spa, with a bonus stay at Los Establos Boutique Resort in Panama

  • Prize covers up to 10 nights (double occupancy) in up to 3 rooms, with estimated value up to $1,900 per room

  • Winner must pay a mandatory nightly supplement of $306–$323 per person, covering meals, beverages (including alcohol), and all-inclusive amenities

  • Airfare, taxes, and any upgrades or optional excursions are not included

  • Prize is not redeemable for cash, is non-transferable, and is subject to availability and resort policies

  • Minimum 7-night stay required; blackout dates do not apply; peak-season surcharge may apply
     

Prize Pickup & Shipping

All physical prizes must be picked up in Grays Harbor County, WA.
If shipping is requested, winners are responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
United Way Grays Harbor is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged shipments.
 

Winner Selection & Notification

  • Winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries by each drawing date

  • Winners will be notified by phone or email using the contact info provided

  • If a winner does not respond within 72 hours, an alternate winner may be selected

  • Prizes may be picked up locally or delivered electronically, depending on the prize
     

Text Messaging & Consent

By entering, participants agree to receive occasional SMS messages from United Way Grays Harbor related to this giveaway and future community updates.
Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Important: Entrants must remain subscribed through the giveaway period (ending August 20, 2025) to remain eligible to win. Early opt-outs will forfeit eligibility.

Your contact information will only be used by United Way Grays Harbor to notify winners and share occasional updates about programs and community impact.
We will never sell or share your information with third parties.
 

General Terms & Disclaimers

United Way Grays Harbor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway at any time for any reason, including circumstances beyond its control.
By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final.
